Shallow Shaft Restaurant.
The Shallow Shaft restaurant is
located up Little Cottonwood Canyon just 2 miles from Snowbird. A great place
to visit that is close to Snowbird and Alta.
LaCaille Restaurant
World-renowned French restaurant
located just outside the entrance to Little Cottonwood Canyon about 7 miles
from Snowbird and Alta. The ambiance and food are a wonderful experience.
Tuscany Restaurant
Tuscany is the result of an extensive remodel of an
historic restaurant at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. It is built in the
style of an old Italian mountain Lodge. Extensive use of rock, massive beams
and faux painting add to the rustic ambiance. Fireplaces in three dining rooms
set a warm, relaxing and cozy environment.
The menu is Italian at heart but
is influenced by ingredients and cooking styles indigenous to the West. The
wonderful array of menu items includes items such as: capriccio, steamed
mussels, pesto-crusted salmon, and double cut pork chop. All the desserts are
baked "in house" as well as the crusty Italian style peasant bread. All
these items come reasonably priced with offerings for the whole family. Tuscany
offers an extensive wine list as well as a Private Club and banquet facilities.
Tuscany is open 7 nights a week
and Tues. thru Fri. for lunch. During the warmer months there is outdoor dining
in a beautiful garden setting.
